Our company was originally founded in 2007 by Bobby Parks after his successful management of and his departure from one of the largest deck building companies in Atlanta at the time. Historically, Atlanta's construction market is very slow to adapt and implement new building materials and methods relative to other parts of the United States. With the creation of Peachtree Decks and Porches in 2007, Bobby introduced low maintenance decking and other building materials to a market where wood and only wood was king. While he faced an uphill climb, he managed to build the company and its reputation even through recession of 2008. His personal reputation within the industry is unmatched to this day. He is a celebrity among deck builders if there is such a thing.
In 2014, Bobby wanted to retire from being a contractor and take a different role in the industry so he sold the company to its present owner, Greg DiBernardo an equally successful deck builder from New Jersey. Bobby and Greg were friends from within the industry and it was the perfect opportunity for both of them. The transition was seamless.
Peachtree Decks and Porches was founded on the principal of being at the forefront of designing and building low maintenance decks, porches and other outdoor structures. Greg continues in Bobby's tradition and brings his own passion for this to work everyday.
