Two Builders, One Standard
Peachtree Decks and Porches was founded in 2007 by Bobby Parks, who brought low-maintenance composite decking to an Atlanta market where wood was still king, and built the company’s reputation straight through the 2008 recession.
In 2014 he handed it to a colleague from within the industry: Greg DiBernardo, a deck builder from New Jersey with a national name of his own: feature writer for Professional Deck Builder, contributing editor at Tools of the Trade, NARI presenter, and a product-development partner to the industry’s leading manufacturers.
In the decade since, he has rebuilt Peachtree Decks and Porches’ systems around the client, new products, a sharper process, and a level of communication homeowners mention in nearly every review.

Recently hired Peachtree Decks to design and build a large standalone replacement deck. Really happy with the results. Working with Greg on the design was really helpful.
He has a lot of good ideas and will tell you when your great idea is not such a great idea and why. We had a lot of zoning issues with coverage and height to deal with and he found creative work arounds that got us the deck we wanted.
The build process was the best contractor experience we’ve had. The crew was there every day, worked diligently all day and cleaned up every day so the area was neat and clean throughout the build (about 3-4 weeks).
The guys were friendly and courteous, and great with all my annoying questions and requests. thanks to the thoroughness of the planning and design process we had essentially no change orders (a first!) and the few times we thought we might need a change order, a conversation with Greg either convinced us it was unnecessary or something we would likely regret later if we did it. Could not be happier with the results–recommend them highly.

Peachtree Decks and Porches is the place to go for deck needs. They were able to replace our old pressure treated deck with Trex and we could not be happier. They were able to save the framing of the original deck thus saving us some money.
The stairs were totally rebuilt. I mention this because I felt they treated us fairly, and, did not try to charge us for work that did not need to be done.
Peachtree Decks and Porches sold us on a “turn key” solution. When I asked what that meant, I got “Your will not know we were here.” That was so true, they did exactly what we discussed from putting in a beautiful new deck to touching up the house to match the paint, no one else had to be involved.
They are fair priced and did an excellent job. I have already recommended them to others. I will leave with this: they even hosed off the deck when done to get all the debris from construction off of it.

Throughout the entire project, they kept us informed about what was happening, what to expect next, and when work would be taking place. We never felt left in the dark, which made the whole process so much easier.
