A Note From Greg DiBernardo
What Milton Homes Ask of an Outdoor Build
Milton became its own city in 2006, and it has held onto a semi-rural, equestrian character that most of North Fulton traded away years ago. One-acre minimums are common, so the back yards here are big, sloped, and often edged with hardwoods or open pasture.
That scale changes the design. A structure that would anchor a quarter-acre lot can look undersized behind a large custom home off Birmingham Highway, so proportion and sightlines matter more than they do almost anywhere else we work.
Two other things shape nearly every Milton project. Design-review and HOA standards around Crabapple and the Birmingham corridor are genuinely thorough, so drawings and material choices need to be right before a shovel moves. And the exposure of these open lots, full sun, wind, pollen, and Georgia humidity, rewards low-maintenance materials over anything that needs sanding and staining every couple of seasons.
We build for all of that from the first sketch. To date we’ve had no HOA design rejections, and that record traces straight back to the packet we hand in.
What We Build in Milton
Custom Decks
Screened Porches
A screened porch is the room that finally makes a big Milton back yard usable in May and September, when the bugs would otherwise chase you inside. We build them as true architecture, with gable, shed, or combination roofs that tie cleanly into your existing rooflines.
Tongue-and-groove ceilings, exposed rafters, and an optional fireplace turn it into a room you’ll use three seasons a year.
Sunrooms & outdoor rooms
When you want the space to work in January too, we enclose it. Eze-Breeze window systems, tile floors, and finished details give you a four-season outdoor room that reads as part of the house, matched to the lines you already have.
These enclosures are also where our exclusive Equinox louvered-roof partnership pays off, giving you control over sun and rain at the touch of a switch.
Why Milton Homeowners Trust Peachtree Decks and Porches
We hold Georgia license RBQA005814 and carry full insurance. We’re active in NARI, where Greg has both served as a member and spoken to the trade, and we belong to NADRA, the national deck and railing association.
We’re also the exclusive Equinox louvered-roof partner in metro Atlanta, and a certified installer for MoistureShield, Fortress, Trex, and Deckorators. Every build is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty, and steel-framed decks carry their manufacturer coverage on top of that.
More than a thousand outdoor projects since 2007 sit behind that record. Milton homeowners tend to do their homework, and we’re happy to be the company that holds up under it.

The People Behind the Work
Peachtree Decks & Porches has been building outdoor living around North Atlanta since 2007, and Greg DiBernardo has owned and led the company since 2014. It’s a small, senior team by design, so the person who plans your project stays close to it on site.
That continuity is a big part of why the finished work looks like it belongs to the house. You can read more about the company and the people on our about page.
