Deck Builders in Holly Springs, GA
A deck in Holly Springs lives or dies at two connections most homeowners never see, where it ties into the house and where the posts meet the ground, which is why the deck builders at Peachtree Decks & Porches get both right, and why the decks, porches, and screened porches we build stay solid long after a rushed one starts to bounce.

A Note From Greg
I’m Greg DiBernardo and I’ve run Peachtree Decks & Porches since 2014.
Holly Springs has grown fast, and many of the homes here went up in the 2000s with a builder-grade pressure-treated deck stapled to the back. Those decks are hitting the age where the boards cup, the rail loosens, and the whole thing starts to feel a little unsure underfoot.
We rebuild those, and we build new ones the way they should have gone in the first time, on framing that won’t move and a surface you never have to refinish. The care is the same on your first deck as on a replacement for one that let you down.
Everything starts at our Woodstock design center, a short drive down 575, where you can see the plan in 3D and settle every choice before we build.

What Most Holly Springs Homes Have in Common
- Tear-off and rebuild. When the framing is sound but the surface is shot, we can reuse what's good and rebuild the rest in low-maintenance materials.
- Full replacement. When the ledger was never flashed and water's been getting behind it, the safe answer is to start at the house wall and do it right.
- New builds. On newer lots with no deck at all, we design one that fits the house and the way you'd actually use it.
The Crew Behind It
The people who show up in Holly Springs have been building outdoor rooms under the Peachtree name for years, and it shows in the fit and the finish. Get to know the people behind Peachtree and the standards the company was built on.

Why Holly Springs Homeowners Trust Us
- The connections are done right. We flash every ledger to the house and set footings to real bearing, which is exactly where the decks that fail were shortcut. That's the difference between a deck that feels solid in year ten and one that's pulling away from the wall.
- The materials outlast the wood. Steel and aluminum framing won't rot or twist, and capped composite won't grey out in the sun. You get a 5-year workmanship warranty on our labor, sitting on top of the manufacturer warranties.
- The company stands behind it. We're licensed in Georgia, number RBQA005814, fully insured, and a NARI member with more than a thousand projects behind us. That record is why HOAs across North Atlanta have signed off on our designs without a single rejection.

Where a Deck Actually Fails
The two failure points are the ledger and the footings. A ledger that was nailed on without flashing lets water run behind it into the band board, and once that rots, the deck is holding onto soft wood, which is how you hear about a deck coming off a house.
We flash the ledger, bolt it properly, and dig footings to bearing so the posts don’t settle. None of it shows in a photo, and all of it is why the deck is still tight a decade later.

A Holly Springs Deck That's Still Tight in Year Ten

Holly Springs has filled in fast along the 575 corridor, and a lot of those first-wave decks are ready for what comes next. As deck builders in Holly Springs, we like this work because a solid rebuild or a well-planned new deck changes how a family uses the back of the house for the next couple of decades. When you’re ready to start, the City of Holly Springs handles the permitting, and Explore Georgia is a good way to find what’s worth doing around Cherokee County on a free weekend.
