What Working With a Screened Porch Builder in Alpharetta, GA Looks Like

Summers here are long and wet, and the mosquitoes seem to think your back yard belongs to them. A screened porch hands it back. It gives you a shaded, open-air room you can sit in through a July afternoon or a cool October night without swatting at anything.

We build these as real rooms. That starts with the roof, moves through the ceiling and the screen system, and ends with a space that feels like a true extension of the house.

Our team has completed more than a thousand outdoor living projects across North Metro Atlanta since the company started in 2007, and screened porches are some of the most rewarding work we do.

We work in low-maintenance, high-performance materials, and we hold every build to a five-year workmanship warranty. When you’re ready to talk, we’ll walk your yard, look at how your home sits, and figure out the porch that fits it.

We absolutely love our beautiful new porch! Our old deck really needed to be replaced, and we decided to upgrade to a screened-in porch.

The team that built it, led by Alonso, was fantastic. They showed up every day on time, worked a full day, and tidied up before they left each night.

Everyone was friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to have around. The painters did a beautiful and meticulous job that truly finished the space perfectly.

Working with Greg, Mike, and Maria made the process so easy from start to finish. We highly recommend Peachtree Porches and Decks for your next deck or porch project!

Greg and his team were amazing start to finish designing and building our new screened in porch. We could not be any happier with the quality and precision to detail and best of all beauty of the porch!

His team were professional, on time, and were available to answer any questions and/or provide insight to the process. Thank you Greg and Mike and the rest of your team!!

So, What Does a Screened Porch Actually Cost?

Every porch is priced to the design, but here’s an honest range to plan around.

A few things shape where you fall in that range. The roof style is a big one, and we offer gable, shed, combination, and exposed-rafter rooflines. Add a tongue-and-groove ceiling and the room reads warmer overhead. Some homeowners also add an optional porch fireplace to stretch the season into the colder months.

One honest note on scope. We build new screened porches and larger porch projects. We don’t take on small rescreen jobs, so if you just need existing screen panels swapped, we’re not the right fit.

For the money side, we work with Acorn Finance for larger loans and Advancial for financing up to $30,000 at 1-year interest-free. A design fee applies unless your project is a full turnkey design, and we’ll spell all of that out before anything is signed.

How Your Porch Comes Together

01

Design

We start at your house. We measure the space, study how the sun and the roofline fall, and lay out a porch that matches the home’s proportions and how you plan to live in it.

02

Roof and Ceiling

You pick the roofline that suits the house, from a clean gable to a low shed to a combination form. Inside, a tongue-and-groove ceiling or exposed rafters set the character of the room.

03

Screen System

We fit a screen system that keeps the bugs out and the breeze moving, sized to your openings and built to hold up to daily use and the occasional storm.

04

Build and Finish

Our crew frames, roofs, screens, and finishes the porch, then walks it with you at the end. Every build is backed by our five-year workmanship warranty.

What Sets Our Screened Porches Apart

Gable, shed, combination, and exposed-rafter rooflines are all part of what we build, so the porch is tailored to the lines of your home.

We build in low-maintenance, high-performance materials chosen for Georgia heat, humidity, and afternoon storms, so the porch keeps looking sharp with little fuss.

We’re a nationally recognized builder, NARI members, and the exclusive Equinox louvered-roof partner in metro Atlanta, with more than a thousand projects behind us.

The same company designs and builds your porch, and we stand behind the work with a five-year workmanship warranty and a record of no HOA design rejections to date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, a screened porch is a structural addition, so it needs permitting and inspections. We handle that process as part of the build, including the roof and any electrical the porch calls for.
Most screened porches take about six weeks of construction once we break ground. Design, permitting, and material lead times come before that, and we’ll give you a realistic schedule up front.
That’s exactly what most of ours are built for. A screened porch is comfortable spring through fall, and if you add a porch fireplace, you can keep using it well into the cooler months.
Yes. We design the roofline, ceiling, and finishes to tie into your home’s architecture, and we can connect a new screened porch to an existing deck or build the two together.
We design with neighborhood guidelines in mind and have no HOA design rejections to date. We’re glad to prepare the drawings your HOA needs for approval.
Both. A ground-level porch works well on a walk-out lot, while an elevated porch suits homes where the main floor sits well above grade, and we’ll recommend the right approach for your yard.

Alpharetta sits in north Fulton County and has grown into one of the most sought-after addresses in metro Atlanta, with a lively downtown, the trails and green space around Big Creek Greenway, and busy weekends at spots covered by the Awesome Alpharetta visitor guide. Homes here range from established neighborhoods to newer builds on wooded lots, and nearly all of them share the same challenge: long, humid summers and evenings the bugs try to take over. A screened porch answers that directly, adding a shaded outdoor room that suits the way Alpharetta families entertain and unwind. Permitting runs through the City of Alpharetta, and we manage that paperwork so your project stays on track.
